Yourplace Central Apartments

The location was very good, about 1km from the old town, with the tram and bus stop 2’ away. We were lucky to find parking on a nearby street, for a small fee based on how long the car was parked. The apartment was also very warm. But there was dampness on the ceiling, probably from a leak upstairs, and the loft bed put us very close to it. On the wall above our bed were fingerprints from previous guests, which we noticed on the second day and found upsetting because the place didn’t feel clean. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. The bathroom was narrow and had no towel rack. Soundproofing was poor too, with doors and footsteps audible until late at night. For the last 3 days I left and found another apartment. Booking the Christmas holidays two months ahead at an economical price didn’t mean we should have been given this room.

They send the apartment door password and door code when you book, and it felt safe to stay there. Our room, bed, and bathroom were spotless. Even though the place was by the roadside, it was very quiet. I’d stay here with peace of mind. Full marks from me, and I’d choose this hotel again if I return.

The apartment itself is nice, but customer service was disgraceful when there was a problem. I had trouble getting through the front door, and another person in the building had the same issue. The person I called said they couldn’t help, then hung up on me. There are plenty of other places to stay, so save yourself the hassle and avoid this one.

The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had what I needed, and Apt #2 was so clean it felt brand new. I stayed for 6 nights. The Wi-Fi was too slow for YouTube or Netflix, though it sometimes worked for sending messages on my phone. I only received the door code 15 minutes before the 3 pm check-in. Given that my previous booking left me without a code and unable to get in, I would have felt more reassured if it had arrived earlier.
