Hotel Zamkowy Mlyn

The freshly renovated bathroom and the huge, clean room made a great impression. We only booked one night and weren't expecting much, but the hotel turned out to be surprisingly good. The reception is open 24/7, and the staff greeted us warmly. Breakfast was amazing, with everything we wanted plus typical Polish items. They even cooked the scrambled eggs fresh for us in a tiny pan. We'd definitely recommend it for a short stop or a longer stay.

We had a delicious goulash with potato cakes or hash browns, and the restaurant also had a variety of local liqueurs to buy as souvenirs. Breakfast was very good too. The country-style building is lovely and easy to find, with free parking out front. Staff were friendly, and our comfortably sized room had a wardrobe and was very clean, as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, the room was warm in November, and the shower had hot water. The bathroom lighting was good.

The dinner was very nice, but the portions were enormous. Our sharing board starter was a full meal, and the main course could have fed someone after a 20-mile run and a week without food. Still, it was a good experience, and I would recommend the hotel. The breakfast was nice too. The only reason this wasn't five stars is that we were woken early by a lot of noise from something or somebody moving around. It's a very nice hotel.

I was on a business trip in Germany and decided to drive through Poland, staying here for a night. It's only a short drive from the highway, and the town is very nice. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, there was plenty of parking, and the rooms were a great size, better than the one I'm staying in in Germany. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to head back. I'd definitely stay here again.
