Pokoje Gościnne - U Wiktorii

I have stayed in all sorts of hotels at least twice a month for around 20 years, and the service at Baltik Park was the most hopeless, rude and brazen I've come across. The young kitchen staff were loud and self-absorbed, and couldn't even keep the coffee machine filled. The rooms and bathrooms are cramped, the carpets were dirty, the towels worn, and the bathrooms had mold and an unpleasant smell. The place generally wasn't clean. It's also a long way from the sea and the town center. I can't understand the enthusiasm other guests have shown. I wouldn't recommend Baltik Park. There are much nicer places in Krynica where you can have a comfortable, pleasant stay. I left with no fond memories, and the saying "like you, like you" came to mind when I read the owner's replies to other unhappy guests.

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of fresh choices: several cheeses and cold cuts, spreads and salads, plus scrambled eggs, hot dogs or sausages served each day. The hotel has a lovely setting and a beautiful view of the Vistula Lagoon, so it feels easy to unwind away from everyday noise. Our room had comfortable beds and cozy bedding, with enough space. I also liked being able to choose things like toilet paper and garbage bags. From the start, the staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile, advice or an answer. We had a great stay and will pick this hotel again when we return to Krynica Morska.

The location worked well, and there was breakfast, free parking, nice coffee from the machine, and a fridge and kettle in the room. But the bathroom was tiny and awkward, with a sink about the size of a shoebox. The shower was already moldy despite the building being fairly new, and cleaning wasn't good: the faucet was dirty and the bathroom smelled bad. Our mattresses were comfortable but too short, and the pillows need replacing. There's no air conditioning, and the facade still needs finishing, at least on our part of the building where there's no plaster.

Breakfast was delicious, and the place has everything you need. It's modern and tidy, spotlessly clean, and even smells lovely. You can feel how much care goes into running it, with a smile too. I'd definitely recommend it.
