There was plenty of space, and the location was good for our two-night stay, but the property felt neglected. The bathroom cabinet was worn, the balcony had been left uncared for, and some tiles were damaged. We also found no paper towels in the kitchen. The living room sofa bed was damaged when opened, and a broken bed board meant we slept very badly, even with a baby. I reported it in the morning and was told it would be fixed, but no one came after 9:00 a.m. Later I got a message offering to send someone when the baby was already asleep. There had been no earlier update, and despite the promises, no repair was made. While we watched TV, someone seemed to be using the remote and changing channels, possibly from another room.

We were fortunate to be there for just one night. It was a complete disaster. We arrived late, and only cold water came from the taps. No one picked up when we called the number listed by Booking.com. Then we took the bedspreads off and found everything stained, faded, and dirty. We slept in sweatpants because we were scared to put on pajamas. I can’t even say whether there were bedbugs. Stay far away.

The location is peaceful and green, with the sea, lagoon, and town center all nearby. We could unwind away from the crowds while still having everything close at hand. We’ve stayed in the apartment twice and felt very comfortable there with our children. It was spotless, well equipped, and just as described. The host communicated excellently and the professional management made everything easy. I’d definitely recommend it, and we’ll happily return.

The taps leak, there’s no heating, and the water is always cold. I can’t believe anyone would like stained sofas, so I suspect these positive reviews come from friends.

It’s a lovely, quiet place, away from the shouting and loud music in central Krynica. The guesthouse is a little off the beaten track, which is a real plus for the peace and quiet. It’s also close to the reservoir, with a bike path along the embankment for walking or cycling. The rental was clean and well maintained, and the owner was very nice and helpful.
