The pool and breakfast were fine, but there’s no refrigerator in the room, and the car park is small. There’s also a long balcony running across all the rooms, which felt ridiculous, so I had to keep the windows covered with curtains. I booked through Booking. To my surprise, they didn’t cancel my reservation, unlike what they did to others.

The location is very convenient and close to the town center, and the rooms were a nice size and clean, though they don't have air conditioning. There isn't dedicated parking for guests. The old fashioned room locks need keys from both sides, which could make evacuation impossible in an emergency. Ms. Ania at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The lifeguard, though, was very rude to guests and spent most of the time on his phone with earphones in instead of watching the pool. With children there, it made the atmosphere unwelcoming and didn't feel safe.

The breakfast and lunch options had a nice variety, and the housekeepers and front desk staff were kind and gave great service. Teresa at reception was especially welcoming and generous in helping with our needs and accommodations, while staying professional. She made our stay even better, and I'd definitely recommend this one of a kind hotel in Krynica. The location comes with a beautiful view, though getting into town is a bit of a hike. It felt refreshing once we got there.

We were happy to come back to Panorama after five years. I first stayed here before the renovation and loved how it brought back family trips in the 80s and 90s, with the pool, ping-pong, billiards, dining room, and evening dancing. I worried the renovation might make it more AĘ, like the Prezydent Hotel, but the refreshed interior still has the relaxed, friendly feel and no pomposity. There are lots of children and pets, which will suit some guests and not others. That's a matter of preference to keep in mind. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with good cold cuts and real Nutella rather than a cheaper substitute. Food was replenished regularly, and even close to 10:30 there were still plenty of the pancakes and waffles that go fastest. There's a new smaller hot tub beside the main pool, and the gym is well equipped. In the evenings the lobby is lively, often with a DJ or highland band, and you can order surprisingly good oven pizza that's a big hit. There's ping-pong and free billiards. Nobody minds if kids slap the cloth with a bat or hit the balls too hard, but if you want a proper game of ping-pong, bring your own paddles. There are also children's activities every evening with an entertainment staff. Booking through a site like Booking.com worked out almost 30% cheaper than calling directly. We left happy again!
