Pensjonat Szach

The calm atmosphere in Krynica-Zdrój made it a great place to unwind. The guesthouse is clean, well looked after, and in a great location. Our room was comfortable, and everything matched the description. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. We'd be very happy to come back.

We had a very pleasant stay, with kind and helpful owners. Breakfast was fresh and varied, and ski storage was available. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a balcony, kettle, and mini-fridge. The location was convenient, with parking and a spa bus stop nearby. We didn't use the sauna, but it is available for 80 PLN per person.

This was my second stay, and I was very pleased with it. The peaceful, friendly atmosphere and quiet surroundings made it easy to relax, and the location is a convenient base. The rooms were clean, well kept, and as described. Staff were polite, helpful, and attentive to what guests needed. I'm saddened by some of the negative reviews. My experience was completely different, and I don't agree with those comments. I think they are unfair and don't show the true standard of this place.

I stayed at "Szach Guesthouse" at the beginning of this year, and choosing it worked out really well. The neighborhood is quiet, while Góra Parkowa and the Spa Water Pump Room are close by. The guesthouse also has a jacuzzi and sauna that you can use for a small fee. Mrs. Zuzanna, who runs the place, was always helpful, professional, and genuinely warm. The room was spotless, with a large flat-screen TV, kettle and cups, refrigerator, and free WiFi. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with something for everyone. The freshly baked bread and delicious scrambled eggs with bacon, made with eggs from happy hens, were especially good. I honestly recommend this place and hope to have another lovely holiday there soon!
