Zamek Joannitów

We left hungry and with our cash still in our pockets. We were seven people, and although there were unreserved tables, the waiter said he wasn't allowed to join tables and couldn't seat us together. It was a strange response for a restaurant of this caliber. We'd come on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and family time, drawn by the lovely-looking food and surroundings. It wasn't even busy. We found another place nearby, where we spent 1200zl plus a 100zl tip.

Wioletta, the manager, made a real difference for us. She was professional and reliable, calmly finding a solution whenever something came up, which gave us peace of mind. The whole staff were experienced and attentive, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our wedding at Zamek Joannitów was a dream. The castle is beautiful, elegant, and full of charm, with a magical feel that made the day unforgettable. We'd choose it again in a heartbeat, and it will always be a special place for us, where we made unforgettable memories.

Wioletta was so kind and attentive, and the food was exceptional. We celebrated our wedding here, and it really was the best day of my life. The enchanting atmosphere made it unforgettable. I'm grateful for how they made our special day, and I wholeheartedly recommend this venue.

The castle and its grounds are stunning, and entry costs only 10zl (£2) per person. There’s WiFi inside if you need to do online banking, since reception is bad. This is one of my favorite places in Poland, with lakeside campsites that are well equipped and have access to the water, toilets, and showers. The village has lots of places serving absolutely amazing food. They also have festivals every year, including a bike one.
