We’ve been staying at this guesthouse for 10 years and have always been pleased. The owners add new amenities for guests each year, and you can see their smiles and satisfaction as soon as you arrive. There’s a pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay. We highly recommend it.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here now. Maybe it was okay a few years back, but cleanliness is poor, and the room and bathroom smell damp. We were put on the ground floor, where mold covered the ceilings and the downstairs shower. After an hour, we started coughing and my son got a rash. There’s a barbecue area, but it’s so dirty we were afraid to use it. There’s no Wi-Fi or parking either, and cars have to be left on the street. The photos don’t come close to showing the actual property.

We left quickly after arriving. The room was dirty, with red marks on the bedding, which the owner claims are something else. The furniture was old and worn, and the beds were two old sofa beds. The bathroom smelled awful, and the rooms looked completely different from the website photos. There was no option for a refund, and those were only some of the surprises we found. Please be careful with this place. I highly recommend it.

The only real plus is the price. We stayed a few nights in an “apartment,” though it was nothing like one. The decor looked unchanged since the communist era, with wood paneling and CRT TVs that didn’t work. Cleanliness was an issue too, and it’s far from everything.
