Willa Secesja

Villa Secesja has a lovely hostess who’s quick to help, including with suggestions for affordable, good places to eat. The room was clean, fresh smelling, and well kept, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of variety. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I’d happily recommend staying here. Thank you.

The owners and staff are so friendly, and the rooms are clean and well cared for, with comfortable beds. It’s right in the heart of Łeba, with plenty of shops, pubs, and attractions close by, and just a five-minute walk to the sea. Breakfast is included with the room, and you can borrow a beach chair for free. Highly recommend it. We’ll be back next year!

The owners are always smiling and helpful, and the rooms are clean, with towels and soap provided. The place has an interesting style, though it won’t suit everyone’s taste, and prices are high, even if cheaper options are hard to find in Łeba this year. It’s near the beach. Breakfast is quite good for a guesthouse: cold cuts, vegetables, a salad every day, something hot like scrambled eggs, baked sausages, boiled frankfurters, or pancakes with cheese, plus yogurt, coffee, and a daily dessert such as cookies or cake. The yogurt and fruit are the cheapest items, mostly apples that nobody eats anyway. An electric towel warmer would help, since the bathroom stays damp and there’s nowhere to dry clothes when the weather is bad. Parking is a big headache on Łeba’s crowded streets. The available lot has to be booked months ahead, so I couldn’t use it. I’d also have worried about parking there, with six cars packed into two rows of three. All in all, I recommend the place.

Sadly, we were very disappointed, especially by the exceptionally rude receptionist. When we asked to see the room, even just a photo, she snorted that our expectations were unreasonable and seemed surprised we wanted to know what we’d be paying for. The price was high for the poor standard we later saw online. Luckily, the transaction didn’t go through, and we found charming rooms with breakfast, closer to the beach and at a better price. We definitely don’t recommend Villa Secesja.
