After driving for hours, my friend and I reached Hotel “Dworek” at 2 AM, only to be told by the administrator to leave and find somewhere else. The hotel was lit up, and he had answered the phone right away, but he still wouldn't let us in. We had booked through Booking, whose listing clearly said the front desk was open 24 hours. We were also charged 240 PLN. He said we should ask Booking for a refund. Booking customer service contacted the hotel, but the owner has ignored them for a month. It feels like our money was taken, and now I'm spending a lot of time trying to get it back. That night was awful. We eventually called around and found other hotels that took us in, and there are many great places nearby for less money. I won't name them here, but I hope others avoid having their night ruined this way. Hotel “Dworek” is the worst hotel I've ever dealt with, and I think this is the first bad review I've ever written.

We were left looking for another hotel for two more hours that night because the person on duty didn't do their job or take responsibility. Our Booking reservation was ignored. Booking support said it should be fine, but when we arrived at midnight, the receptionist wouldn't open the door to us or cancel the booking. We waited and tried speaking to reception by phone, but they still wouldn't open the door so we could talk face to face. They showed no respect for our time or comfort and didn't even apologize. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We needed somewhere to rest after driving for hours, and this worked out perfectly. There wasn't a booking, but they found space for us. A room for two adults and two children wasn't available, so the helpful staff gave us two rooms instead. Thanks! We'll definitely come back.

Breakfast was a lovely start to the next morning, with freshly prepared eggs, sausages, and all the other things you'd hope to find. The night before, we had stopped here unexpectedly on our way to Slovakia. For just €25 per person per night, the value is hard to beat. It was the cleanest motorway hotel I've stayed in, and the nearby highway didn't make it noisy. There's even a small fitness room for a morning workout. I'd absolutely recommend it.
