The room itself was large and had a TV, but the furniture smelled musty. We booked for 100 a night, and Booking.com’s photos and information showed a room with a private bathroom. Instead, the bathroom was shared in the hallway. There was a separate bathroom with a bathtub rather than a shower tray and curtain. The upstairs roommates seemed like residents and acted as if they were at home: a dog slept in the hallway, doors slammed day and night, and personal belongings were left out there. The “private kitchen” was downstairs and in use too. The building looked like a slum in Łódź, and the yard was a total mess of quads, cars, bicycles, bottles, and cans. What a dump. I felt completely out of place, and around 9 a.m. on my departure day, someone tried to open my room. No kidding. I didn’t get enough rest, felt embarrassed by the atmosphere, and wanted to run away. What a joke compared with what I expected. I regret it, and don’t recommend staying here.

The hosts were very nice, and the room had a bathroom with a shower. There were cloths and cleaning products in the cupboards, plus a TV, fridge, and electric kettle in the room. It’s close to the biggest attractions.

The owners are lovely, and the quiet neighborhood has a really nice feel to it. Solina and Polańczyk are about equally far away. For the price, I'd give it 9 out of 10. I recommend it.

A good, reasonably priced base for trips to Lake Solina. It was clean and peaceful, and being right near the road didn't get in the way of relaxing. I'd recommend it 🤗
