There's a bonfire spot beside the stream, and about 150 meters downstream there's a deeper pool where you can swim. A great place for a feast with a group of up to 20-40 people.

There's a playground for kids, and paths and lawns all around the spacious cottages. A path leads down to the stream, where you can have a bonfire. The cottages have a terrace and fireplace, two large bathrooms, two upstairs bedrooms, and a living room and kitchen downstairs. It's a fantastic place to relax with the whole family. There's no cell phone coverage here. I see that as a benefit since it lets me switch off from all the information coming at me from around the world. It was truly relaxing. The area has several interesting places to visit, and it's a good base for trips to Cisna and Lake Solina. It's worth popping into Baligród for the IT department, where a friendly lady will point out interesting places and give you a map and brochures.

If the door shut properly, this would be just about perfect. It’s a quiet, nearly secluded spot with hiking paths all around and hardly any other tourists. A nice choice for families with kids too, since it’s 200 meters from the main road.

The wooden cottages are lovely, and the terrace is a great place to sit. You’ve also got beautiful nature around you and the sound of the river nearby. The kitchen has what you need to cook. The main issue is the plumbing: both showers leak, and when we bathed upstairs, water came through the ceiling into the living room. The downstairs bathroom was somewhat better, though water still ended up on the floor during showers. The floors are worn and could use a proper refresh. I’d recommend the place, but it would benefit from renovation.
