The location is charming, close to hiking trails and public transport, and it makes you want to slow down and relax. At Zielony Ruczaj, I had everything I needed, and the hosts seem to have thought of every detail for guests’ comfort. I’ve stayed in plenty of places, but nowhere else have I felt so relaxed and at peace. With hotels, I often think of little things that could be added or improved; that never crossed my mind here. It’s now my number one place to stay in the Bieszczady Mountains, and I’ll definitely be back. Shame I can only give it five stars.

The hosts make the place feel wonderful. Our room was clean and pleasant, with a private bathroom, and the kitchen was easy to get to. There’s access to the river and a lovely area behind the cottage. A great place to stay for hiking.

We’ve been coming here for nine years, and now our adult children and their partners come too. It’s a place where you can relax and recharge. The house is spotless and beautifully furnished with taste and elegance, and even as a demanding guest, I love it. The rooms are stunning, with a lawned terrace leading down to the river. You can also admire the paintings and other work by the hostess, Ewelina. The hosts are wonderful, and the place is so charming you can’t help loving it. It’s our favorite place to visit.
