The room was very large, and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast buffet was great too. Just keep in mind that ground-floor windows face the road and pavement, so passersby can see in when the curtains are open. Dinner at the restaurant let us down. The prices were a bit higher, the pasta was undercooked, and some ingredients were missing from our drinks. There also wasn’t much choice for vegetarians.

The breakfast was nice, and the staff were great, but my stay was only okay overall. There was perfume in the air throughout the hotel, and I had allergies the whole time. I wish they’d use less fragrance on everything.

The hotel is handy for getting into the city centre, with bus and tram stops nearby. Breakfast was included and more than satisfactory, and the restaurant was okay. My room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and its own shower, sink, and toilet. There was a decent range of TV channels, though most were in Polish.

I picked the Focus for its location after my usual hotel, where my company gets a corporate rate, was full this week. What a great surprise. The room and bed were both huge, the food was excellent, and the service was super. There was water, plus a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast had a fairly limited range, but there was still plenty to choose from and it tasted good. I’ll definitely stay again.

There isn’t much to do at the hotel, and there are no English-language TV channels. The place looks like a castle, though, and most of the people I met were nice. English wasn’t spoken well by most people in Poland, including the hotel staff, so I sometimes had to find the right person to get my message across.
