Hampton by Hilton Lodz City Centre

I’ve been coming here often enough since 2025, and the experience is rarely pleasant. There always seems to be something. On a previous stay, I found curly body hair on the bed just under the pillow when I arrived. The next day, after housekeeping, there was what I assume was a blood stain on the duvet. Both things were dealt with quickly, but they left me uncomfortable. The parking barrier often won’t open. During my recent stay, I noticed the intercom went unanswered because receptionists were chatting with each other instead of checking it, even though they knew it wasn’t ringing. The young female receptionist Julia was dismissive and spoke with a rude expression and tone, as if I were stupid. One more question seemed too much for her. She rolled her eyes during our conversation and pulled the registration paper from my hands. I wouldn’t expect that behavior from a Hilton brand. The hotel should train staff better in customer service and manners. It was very unprofessional, and I was upset after that short exchange. Other women I’ve encountered at reception on earlier stays were always welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind, nothing like her.

The rooms are compact but thoughtfully laid out, and the amenities and towels are excellent. Breakfast is free for all guests, with a varied, wholesome spread. You can walk to everything nearby, and the tram and buses stop just outside. The customer service was excellent, with staff going above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. You can’t go wrong here.

The tram stop is right outside, with a large shopping street nearby, and the location is the main advantage. Breakfast was great, though I found the mattress quite hard. The bar could use a bit more atmosphere.

I had a great stay and would definitely come back. It’s on the corner of Piotrkowska Street, close to the main tram hub, shops, and restaurants. My room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold dishes, and the staff were professional and helpful. The experience could rival some of the higher-star hotels I’ve stayed in. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Łódź.
