Hotel Tobaco

The front desk is open around the clock, which is really nice, and parking is available in the yard for an extra charge. We did have a problem in the room, but they responded quickly and got it sorted. Issues can happen anywhere. What matters is how quickly they take care of them, and here everything was fine.

It was okay for somewhere to come back to and fall asleep, but I wouldn't be keen to recommend it. The rooms were ordinary, nothing special. There were no outlets beside the beds, so we had to search behind the desk for one, while the other person charged their phone in the bathroom. The light switches were literally an inch above my head, and if I shifted position at night, I'd probably switch on the light with my head.

Everything went smoothly during my stay. The hotel was perfectly fine, with no problems and nothing to complain about.

The only decent part was the breakfast, which was already laid out. The rest of the stay was really disappointing, and this hotel wasn't accommodating for a large group. We arrived in the afternoon but still had to wait another two hours for our rooms. The group meals were appalling: the fish wasn't fresh, the soup seemed leftover, the vegetables were slimy and overcooked, and the meat had no flavor. When we asked for tomato sauce to add some taste, we got ketchup. We could have had a better meal at a soup kitchen. We also had to keep reminding you at every meal in your restaurant that three of us couldn't eat gluten or meat. On top of that, bugs were crawling across the floor in one room, and she had to kill five or six of them.
