Luna Hostel

A hostel.

The rooms are spacious, and the place is quiet and nice. Those are the only positives. The hallways aren’t heated, and in January the kitchen was freezing, around 12 degrees Celsius. The view was of a car repair shop and power plant chimneys, and the neighborhood felt gray and unattractive. It takes half an hour to drive to the city center. The price is higher than a nice hostel 5 minutes from the center, and breakfast isn’t included. The staff member was one elderly gentleman who didn’t quite understand what I was saying. I stayed at Flamingo Hostel in the city center a few days earlier, and everything there was top-notch for a lower price. This place just isn’t worth the cost.

A cozy, very nice place for a night or longer, and the price felt fair for the standard. A window blind would be one useful small improvement. The beautiful paintings were a real delight to look at. We’ll be back next year. 💪😁

The kitchen situation is awful: there's just one for several floors, and the smell makes it impossible to go in. In the room, the only heat comes from one electric radiator, and there's no kettle or TV. It's dim, and almost every small plastic fitting is broken, including the toilet roll holder, shower head holder, sink light, and the folding bathroom door. There weren't even towels or toilet paper. For what it costs, the quality doesn't come close.
