Marena Wellness & Spa

Swimming indoors while looking out at the trees was so relaxing. The pool was beautiful and clean, with a lifeguard, and the hotel itself was clean and often full of families with children. Staff were kind and accommodating. We had a beautiful time here with family, in a hotel set in lovely forest right by the beach. Breakfast and dinner offered a huge range of healthy choices and local cuisine. You can borrow chairs and beach equipment for free, and there's a restaurant right next to the hotel. I'd recommend booking breakfast and dinner. If I could, I'd give it 1000 stars.

I had some smaller service concerns, like finding no toilet paper in the room when we arrived. After we got home, I learned that my wife had experienced what can only be described as harassment by a male masseur in the spa. We reported it to hotel management and are considering reporting it to the Police. Given these clear safety concerns, I can't recommend the place.

We celebrated New Year's Eve here with two families and three kids, and we were all very satisfied. The event was highly professional, really well organized, and entertaining, including the kids' entertainment. The bar, restaurant and Spa are lovely places to relax, and the food and drinks were high quality. Staff were very friendly and professional. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. A few lemonade and shot glasses would be useful, though I can understand that they may worry people would stop coming to the bar. We highly recommend this place!

The food was a pleasant surprise, with plenty of tasty choices at both breakfast and dinner. The resort sits right by the beach in the middle of a forest, and the spa feels clean and peaceful, with modern facilities. The staff were wonderful throughout, at reception and in the spa clinic, friendly, professional, and ready to do extra to make the stay a good one.
