The hotel’s spot worked really well for us, close to the beach, bars, and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, and the sauna and steam room were good too, though they were only available from 6pm to 9pm. Breakfast was just okay. The fruit juice was watered down, and there was no bacon or mushrooms. Some evening entertainment would have been nice. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Trofana.

The renovation work was noisy, starting at 07:00 while we were there. On the plus side, parking was good, and the breakfast had a very good range of choices. The beach is only 100-200m away. We liked the spa, with its two saunas and dim lighting. There’s a small bar on the bottom floor, but it wasn’t open when we tried to order at 21:00.

The food was good, and the location was great. The place had a nice atmosphere, too, with friendly, helpful staff.

There’s a lovely terrace out front, and it gets the evening sun.

The service was very good, and our room came with a balcony.
