The location is fantastic. Once you park, you can leave the car there for the whole stay and walk everywhere, even with a small child. The resort itself feels like the communist era, though the owner is trying to make the conditions as good as possible. I'd definitely choose a superior room, since the standard ones are poor. They don't pretend this is something fancy, and the price matches what's offered, so I gave it five stars. Credit to the owner. I hope the renovations keep going and that you don't give up. It's good to see this resort still open.

The dinners were tasty, if a bit repetitive, and for 45 PLN per person I can't really complain. It's a decent, clean place with a balcony and close to everything, but there are some drawbacks. Street-facing rooms are noisy enough to wake you for half the night. In room 102, the shower barely dribbled, so washing long hair was impossible. Thankfully, I could use the shower in my friends' room next door. The beds also creaked loudly whenever anyone moved. My room cost more, so I expected a little better.

The problem for me was the extra charges. I called ahead and was told the total for two people, with parking and tourist tax included. At checkout, the receptionist added 7 PLN/day for parking and 5 PLN/2 people/day for the tourist tax. When I explained what I'd been told, she said I must have misunderstood her colleague on the phone. I don't like being charged this way. As for the room conditions, the communist-era standard is no secret, and you know what you're paying for. If you're looking for an inexpensive meal, Polino is a good option. The staff are very nice, and the food tastes like grandma's.

The location was good, and the sheets were reasonably clean, but I wouldn't recommend this place. I was on a trip there and wanted to leave after just an hour. The food was awful, so for three days I ate only sweets. There were holes in the curtains, the windows wouldn't open, and the room kettle was caked with limescale. I found a large insect in the shower. The security guard was awful too: he kept insulting and swearing at us, and even hit someone from my school. I was scared to sleep there.
