Residence Puro Beach - Adults only

The rooms were clean and very nice. I enjoyed the stay, especially since it's away from the noisiest part of the street.

A top-class hotel. Really great. Marika and Swami

We booked five days before the stay, then drove 400 km on Saturday. After 1 p.m., once we had arrived, a text came saying our reservation was canceled. The owner said there had been too many bookings through Booking. We asked whether she could have called the day before, or even an hour before check-in, and she said that wasn't possible. We don't believe the story that she only realized an hour before that she was overbooked, leaving us with nowhere to stay. Prices on Saturday were obviously double what they had been when we booked. There was no apology, and the whole thing felt like a downward spiral. We strongly recommend this place. If this happens to anyone else, call Booking.com. They'll help find similar accommodation and cover the difference. Owners, please change your customer service. If you're overbooked, call the guest, apologize sincerely, and explain what they should do instead of leaving them stranded.

We booked in advance, but at 1 PM on arrival day an email arrived saying the hotel was overbooked. When we called, a woman said they couldn't honor the reservation they'd already charged us for. She had no answer when we asked what we were supposed to do after arriving. Her response was so cold and thoughtless. It was a disgrace, and we didn't even hear a "sorry." Avoid this place if you value your time and want to spare your nerves.
