Rewita WDW Miedzyzdroje

The resort has lovely surroundings, good facilities, and friendly staff, so I was pleased with most of my stay. The room also had no bathroom, which was another downside. I was a bit disappointed that the terrace closes at 10:00 PM. Sitting outside in the evening is part of relaxing for many people, especially in summer. I understand quiet hours, but maybe guests could still use the terrace quietly without disturbing anyone. A compromise like that would make the stay more comfortable.

The meals were a strong point. Breakfast was very generous, dinner had a little less to choose from, but the varied menu and tasty homemade food meant there was still something for everyone. The waiters were warm, smiling, and attentive. Housekeeping also did a good job: the rooms were clean, towels were changed regularly, and they vacuumed. The rooms are a bit past their former glory, but we had everything we needed. The location is another clear plus, close to the sea and promenade, right by the Frog. Reception was the disappointing part, except for one blonde woman who was always smiling and happy to chat or help. The other receptionists seemed as if they were there under duress. A hello was apparently too much to expect, and the tone and expressions came across as pretentious. That's a shame, since I always thought reception was the heart of a place.

The room looks nice and is well furnished, and it was clean. The bathroom was clean too, though every so often an unpleasant sewer smell came from it.

The kitchen deserves praise, the food was really good. The location is also a plus, very close to the sea and the Avenue of Stars. Our room, though, sloped several degrees downhill, the floor was nowhere near level. Then the shower tap broke. We reported it right away, but for two days we had no shower water. With two small children, we were left to manage on our own. Hotel staff didn't offer us another room or access to a different bathroom.
