Villa Zdrj

We had a really good stay at Villa Zdrój. The place is kept in immaculate shape, and our room was clean, tidy, and cozy. You can tell the owners pay attention to the details. It’s close to both the beach and the city center, and the breakfasts were fresh and delicious each day. The hosts were lovely, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We’d like to come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone planning a holiday in Międzyzdroje.

This was my second time at the guesthouse, and it’ll be my last. On the first visit I got a room about the size of a closet, though the delicious breakfast made up for it. This year I’d agreed to pay for a larger room, but breakfast was a letdown. We arrived on time and were the last guests, so we ended up scraping leftovers from our plates. Nothing was replenished. It cost 50 złoty, which isn’t a huge amount, but it still wasn’t cheap given how little food there was for the number of guests. What a disappointment.

The owners are helpful and understanding, and my stay was a success. It’s a good location, with the center, promenade, beach, and shops all about a 10-minute walk away. The guesthouse has plenty of rooms, but parking is very limited and costs extra. My street-facing room was noisy, especially with morning traffic. Inside, the rooms have standard equipment and enough towels and toiletries. The shared kitchen is only available for heating meals. Coffee and tea are out all day after 10:30 a.m., since breakfast, which you buy separately, runs until then.

A quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, and a great location. The room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Friendly service, too.
