Willa Allegra

Really good pizza.

You can't beat the location, right by the sea and close to the city center. The room standard didn't feel worth the fairly high price, though. There was a musty smell when we walked into the hotel, and the rooms were tiny, especially the bathroom with its sliding door. The water pressure was weak, and the temperature kept switching from hot to cold. If high standards aren't a priority, it could work for a night to sleep and take a bath, even if the water is sometimes cold. The location really is perfect.

We had a room with a big terrace, and everything we needed was there. The owners were lovely and attentive, and free parking was available. The shared kitchen is upstairs on the second floor with dishes and cutlery, plus there's a fridge on every floor. The sea is only about 200 meters away. There's also a grocery store across the street and a playground for kids. I highly recommend it.

We really felt at ease here during our seven days in August. The street was quiet, restaurants were close by, and the promenade was 50 meters away, with the beach just a three-minute walk. You can head there right in your swimsuit. Our room was on the small side, but clean and pleasant, with wardrobes, drawers, a table, chairs, bedding, lots of hangers, and a shoe cabinet. It also had a kettle and a private furnished terrace. We were given a clothes dryer and beach chairs for free when we asked, and the small bathroom was clean and practical, with plenty of shelves. The owner was always available, helpful, and explained everything. My husband and I travel a lot and value comfort, and we found it here at a very affordable price. Some reviews of this guesthouse seem unfair to me. We highly recommend Villa Allegra.
