Dune C - Faf

The room was roomy and well cared for, with a kitchen and bathroom amenities, and the service was excellent. We were close to shops, restaurants, and the promenade, but the place itself felt tucked away and quiet, just a few minutes from the beach and near the city center. It was our first visit, and we're already thinking about coming back. I'd recommend it.

The apartment felt spacious and was decorated in a lovely modern style, and the staff were warm and helpful. It was our first time staying here, but we're sure it won't be the last. The location is handy for both the sea and the city center.

The TV cables were left dangling, which didn't feel safe with children around, and the apartment overall seemed neglected. The walls needed refreshing and the leather upholstery needed a thorough clean. We even found a dirty fork waiting in the dishwasher. The bathroom had mold in the shower, while the radiator was gray with dust. Cleaning elsewhere also seemed superficial: there was a stain on the sheet, dust and grime around the baseboards, switches, and sockets, and some unknown sticky mess on a dresser handle. The place also lacked basic ergonomics, including a toilet paper holder, which was annoying. We rented apartment 311 in building A through FAF in August this year, on another stay at Dune. We don't usually nitpick, but this visit left us very disappointed. We can't recommend this apartment, and think future guests should know what it's really like.

Inside, the apartment was clean and roomy, with a useful kitchenette and a washing machine in the bathroom. It was quiet and suited a relaxing stay. The beach was only a few minutes away, right by the promenade, and the center was about a 10-minute walk. One small irritation: there was just one coat hanger on the bathroom door. At least three would have been handy.
