HT Houseboats

We booked the house with the panoramic bedroom and could watch a beautiful sunrise from bed. The private outdoor terrace even let us fish, so on our second day in town we bought a fishing rod. We also used the water bike and motorboat included in the price, which were a great way to get out on the lake. The beach is a five minute walk away, and this stretch wasn't crowded. The water was clean and the sunset lovely, it felt like heaven. The whole stay was worth the money, and we'll come back in winter for a different experience. HT Houseboat gave us an amazing, unforgettable vacation. Most of all, thank you to all the staff for being kind and cheerful, with such genuinely positive energy. Receptionist Ms Paulina was especially wonderful, helpful, resourceful, and empathetic from our first day through the whole stay. She deserves praise and a raise!

We really enjoyed the place. The receptionist was polite and helpful, the steam sauna was our favourite spot to relax, and the view was breathtaking. We also had a lot of fun with the paddle boats, kayak, motorboats, and jet ski, with the first hour on the jet ski free. The houseboat was very clean. One thing I hope they'll reconsider is charging extra for vegetarian food. That defeats the point of a free breakfast. I understand vegan options may cost more, but vegetarian food should be available at no extra charge. It feels almost discriminatory towards people who choose vegetarian meals. The meat budget for each basket could instead be used to provide vegetarian food for guests who ask for it. We'd love to visit again if they take the suggestion on board.

Each morning breakfast comes right to your door, with fruit, vegetables, juice, pastries, and hot dishes. The selection even changes a little each day, and it's delicious. The houseboats are roomy and beautifully furnished, with everything you might need. If something's missing, the staff are extremely nice and helpful. The resort has lots to do, including free rentals like a jet ski, bike, paddleboard, and more. The beach is close, and there are plenty of places for cycling or walking. Set on Lake Jamno, the boats give you a gorgeous view to wake up to every day. Definitely worth a stay, I highly recommend it.

Being woken by ducks and swans being fed beside the houseboat is priceless. I stayed in one of the boats, which was roomier and more comfortable than I expected. For reasonable off season rates, you can get three bedrooms, a shower, bathroom, and kitchen. Some houses also come with a jacuzzi and motorboat. Breakfast had a nice range, with a little change each day. There is plenty of parking and a play area for children. The resort also has tree houses and buildings raised off the ground, though those looked smaller than the ones on the water. Such a lovely lakeside spot.
