The location was good value for money. I took my girlfriend for two nights, and although the room looked a little old, it had its charm and was clean and tidy. I only wished there were napkins in the room. We were pleased with the staff’s attitude, and most spoke English during our stay. A special shoutout to the gentleman who waited tables in the evenings. The restaurant food was generally good, but very expensive from the menu, and the plesniak dessert was so sweet we could barely finish it. There were a few things we didn’t like. The pool area had limited opening hours, and we would have enjoyed a late-night unsupervised Jacuzzi there, or even in the garden, if that were available. The hotel doesn’t run transport or shuttles to the city, so we had to rely on taxis. They cost 8pln per km; taxi companies say 4pln per km, then charge double because they have to cover the trip to pick us up. That business model seemed highly suspicious to us. The receptionist recommended the same Janusz taxi driver to everyone, who charged the same way as the others. In the end, you either drive into the city or take a taxi; walking takes an hour. The receptionist could have told us that in November the city is a ghost town, with nothing open and no reason to visit. He also could have advised us against taking the very expensive taxi he eagerly called for us, knowing we planned to go into town. The website promotion says bowling, a pool table, and table football are available with the booking, but it could be clearer that these are charged separately.

The rooms were perfect for resting, and the attention was great. They make a plan for each day of the week. This hotel was the best experience, and I want to go again next holiday!

The setting and atmosphere made for a fairly pleasant stay. The hotel is close to the lake, even if its strip of shoreline is a little short, and it sits near one of the area's busiest tourist towns. The shared pool overlooking the water and the other amenities were nice touches. The rooms and bathrooms, though, aren't especially high quality. Dinner at the hotel restaurant left a much worse impression. The waitress other staff called “Amelia, Amelka,” or something similar, couldn't communicate with us in English. When it was clear we weren't understanding each other, she became rude and unprofessional, seemed unwilling to be there, and eventually left us without attention or help with our requests. I think that's a serious problem for a hotel that welcomes international guests. I can recommend the hotel for its location and character, but I'd avoid the restaurant, especially if you need to speak a foreign language. In my view, basic English and courtesy should be expected for this work. I also think staff at a hotel like this should take language tests before being hired, and I'm almost certain this woman wouldn't pass one. The incident involving Ms. Amelia left a bitter taste, so my stay was only partly successful.

The surroundings are lovely, with peaceful nature and the Masurian lakes nearby, and the hotel itself has real charm. Our room was clean and functional, if nothing fancy, and the housekeeping staff were professional and kind. Bowling, billiards, and dancing in the evenings were enjoyable extras. I may come back to the hotel, but the restaurant experience was deeply disappointing. My partner and I had hoped for a romantic dinner in a cozy, candlelit setting. Instead, we sat for most of the meal at a dark, unprepared table, even though candles were already there. Amelia walked by several times without lighting them, and only did so near the end, when it didn't matter anymore. She seemed distracted or unusually quiet, perhaps just having a bad day or feeling tired. Still, the service felt inattentive and impersonal: dishes were brought and cleared without a word or eye contact, and she struggled with basic English. Communication was difficult, and there was no real effort to make it easier or more pleasant. For international guests, a warm and helpful manner matters especially when there's a language barrier. The hotel presents itself as a premium place, so I expect service throughout the property to live up to that. Guests come to relax, not to take on staff members' personal stress. I regret writing this because the hotel and area are so appealing, but I won't eat at the restaurant again if Amelia still works there. Her service is why I can't give the hotel five stars. I hope a future visit will be good enough for me to do that, and I'm sharing this so other Polish and international guests can set their expectations and perhaps eat elsewhere or avoid this waitress.

We stayed one night in an economy bungalow. From the terrace there was a lovely view of the lake, trees, and other bungalows, and the room stayed cool enough for hot summer weather. It was clean, as were the grounds, and the setting among the trees was quiet. There was a refrigerator, kettle, Herbapol tea, and a bottle of water in the room. Wi-Fi worked only in the main building. The staff were pleasant, breakfast was unusual and delicious, and the coffee was tasty. The pool had warm water, and there was a game room for kids. A nice one-night stay.
