The staff were friendly, and arriving gives a very positive first impression. Breakfast was very good, with a wide choice, and the view was nice. Beyond that, the hotel feels stylish but past its best. The corridor carpets need replacing, and the second floor rooms are very basic. Food was nothing special and everything felt a bit overpriced. WiFi was poor on the second floor and even in the restaurant. I’m not really inclined to return.

The staff made us feel welcome, and the place has a wonderful atmosphere, full of character and history. After a day hiking, it was a lovely place to stay. We spent one night in a spacious, beautiful room at Spiz Castle in Milkow, in a quiet and peaceful location. Breakfast was scrumptious, and the restaurant food was delicious, especially the potato pancakes with goulash. The unusual herbal tea is worth a try.

The castle’s design and overall feel are really enjoyable, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Prices are very affordable for what you get. I recommend it!

We were disappointed enough to leave a day early. No one even asked why, and we weren’t refunded for a dinner. Breakfast was very basic, and the half-board dinner was a real letdown. The rooms were decent, but the atmosphere felt lacking, with heavy wood panelling and surprisingly cramped spaces that reminded us of a 90s hotel. With all the other choices in this lovely area, I wouldn’t stay here again. Sorry!

The staff were friendly and did their best in English to help me during my stay. I loved the beautiful rooms, which preserve the manor’s original period character. The food was delicious, and there was a good range of beers, all very good. I’d recommend staying here, and if I’m back in Poland, I’d come again.
