Słoneczny Dom

The view of the forests and meadows was such a lovely surprise. Słoneczny dom has a beautiful, clean apartment with a kitchenette. I highly recommend it ☺️👍

Mrs. Małgosia was a wonderful host. She told us about local attractions, shared interesting facts, and even pointed us to places to eat and buy the best bread. We stayed in a clean, spacious two-bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchenette, a big bathroom, and a large terrace facing the garden. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, just what we want when we're trying to relax. There's space in the garden for a bonfire or barbecue. Mrągowo's center is about a 25-minute walk away, the town beach on Lake Czos is around 20 minutes away, and Lake Sutapie Małe beach is about 15 minutes away. Highly recommend.

Even after I posted my review, the lady seemed willing to return most of the deposit, but I still can't recommend the place. There was no water for a day, and that wasn't included in the billing. She also asked me to turn on the sprinkler in the evenings. I didn't mind doing it, though it seemed more like something guests were expected to do than a favor. While we were out, a cleaning lady came into our apartment. She said she was new and didn't know what to do. After we left, the lady had trouble returning my deposit because she spotted a stain on a sheet from something a child had spilled. She said she buys sheets that last for years, though she'd sent me a photo of a receipt a week before we arrived. The wardrobe in the room was broken. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low, which you said was because the house is uphill, haha. The shower drain was clogged and water drained very slowly. We reported that on day 1, and the bathroom light didn't work either. I don't recommend it.

The one thing we missed was Wi-Fi. They let us use internet from their phone, though, so we managed fine. I would've liked to watch something on Netflix on my laptop in bed at night, but that wasn't enough to take off a star. Pets are allowed, which is a huge plus for us since this is the only place we've found with that kind of space. The price was really good for what we got. The owner was very kind, and the "Maki" room was attractive, large, and spacious, with big windows and a fantastic bathroom. The kitchenette had everything, and there was plenty of room in the cabinets, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. It even had a table and chairs. 👍
