The hotel is pleasant and clean, the rooms are nicely furnished, and the spot by the sea is great. Sunbeds and an umbrella are a welcome extra. But the food was a real letdown, and I wouldn't stay long. Breakfast barely changed from day to day, with only one or two items varying and almost nothing sweet, apart from sweet dumplings one day and fried doughnuts another. Dinner repeated the same problem: over the three evenings, just two dishes changed, while the sides stayed the same, potatoes with dill. Around 30% of the food was shared between breakfast and dinner. I can see staying for a night or two, but not longer. Staff were unfortunately slow and untidy during both meals, though there simply weren't enough of them. There were only two high chairs for the whole dining room.

Jakub provided excellent spa service, and the staff were all wonderful. The facility itself was excellent too. It's close to both the beach and the port, and overall it was one of the best value vacation experiences I've had.

The hotel never replied to my email asking for an explanation, so that's why I'm giving this rating. We didn't enjoy the food, although I'm not fussy and I realize tastes differ. Lunch was repeated twice during the week, and I don't know whether the chef had changed. The billing was also frustrating. I initially ordered lunch for three people from Monday through Saturday, then changed it to two lunches the next day, which staff entered into the computer. On Friday I canceled Saturday's lunches altogether, and they entered that change too. Still, when we paid, they charged for six days instead of five. I raised it with reception, but it made no difference. They charged 90 zlotys for a day's lunches and said it was the same amount whether it was for one person or more, which seemed absurd to me. We were also entitled to 10% off lunches, but the receptionist disregarded that as well. I stayed at Wydma Resort on the Baltic Sea for the second year in a row. Last year's visit was great, but sadly this one wasn't.
