Villa Toscana Boutique

We had a short holiday at Villa Toscana Boutique with three adults and four children. We stayed in the atmospheric Rosmarino and Jasmin rooms, both with really beautiful views. Breakfast was included and delicious. Dinner was Italian, with a different choice each day. The Villa has its own style and atmosphere, and I’d love to come back for Christmas. A special thank you to the host Selina (sorry if the spelling is wrong). She was friendly, kind, and very attentive to guests. I’d recommend Villa Toscana Boutique.

After a full day skiing, I loved unwinding in the massage chair and watching a movie. It was a slow, mellow way to end the day. The staff are great at anticipating what you might need, and nothing seems like too much trouble. The food is very good. Breakfast could be improved, though I have no real complaints. It may not be the biggest hotel in the area, but for a Boutique Hotel, it’s one of the best. Highly recommended.

This is my second visit to Villa Toscana, and I’ll come back again. I like the relaxed feel of the place and the staff. They’re smart, professional, and funny, and we had a few easy conversations. If you’d rather keep to yourself, nobody pushes you to socialize. If you need something, the staff will arrange it. I stayed in the huge, cozy Coto-Room, which has a kitchen. The bathroom is big. I missed having a bathtub, but the shower was great. The themed rooms have their own distinctive interiors, without Ikea or random plastic. The fancy soaps and shampoos smell great, and make tempting gifts if you want a little Toscana feeling at home. I’m a hiker, and there are two gates to the tatra Nationalpark within 2km. The food is simply amazing. Italian food in Poland might sound sleazy, and maybe that’s true elsewhere, but not here. The pasta is great, well seasoned, and reasonably priced. The winecard deserves a mention too. In my 33 years, I’ve never had such a good pinot grigot. I’ve read opinions about strange smells, but that really wasn’t the case for me. There’s no TV, and I actually liked that. TVs would take away from the spirit of the place. If you really need an episode of your favorite show, bring a tablet, though I didn’t miss having a TV. There’s a library, good wine, a sauna, cozy rooms, good food, and the Tatra Nationalpark next door. I really appreciate this place.

We spent hours trying to book a room here, but a strange problem kept getting in the way. We even went to the property in person, and still couldn’t book because there was no responsible staff member there. At the same time, booking.com showed rooms as available. We had to change our plans after all that uncertainty.
