Hotel Groman

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was generous and tasty. The bathroom was clean and nice too. My room had a squeaky floor, and with so many pigeons on the roof I couldn't leave the windows open for long. It got quite warm, though still manageable. It's a modest hotel a bit farther from the city center, but for the price I had a good experience.

I've stayed all over the world and never had a worse experience. The rooms smelled bad and were dirty, and the treatment was arrogant and poor. At breakfast, a blonde worker raised her voice at us and cursed in Polish when we sat on the terrace. She wasn't polite. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay at this hotel, which deserves less than one star.

We used to stop here every year while passing through. The location by the highway, the big parking area, and the good breakfast were all pluses. This year, though, one employee was dissatisfied and treated us with contempt, as if doing everything as a favor. Worse, we woke up with bloody spots from bedbugs, all three of us: my child, my wife, and me. When we complained, they said they couldn't do anything because they'd have to close the whole hotel, and they weren't going to do that. You'll have to decide whether to stop here.

The outside view is beautiful, and the staff are okay. There's a large banquet hall that could work well for a small gathering or similar party. The hotel is quite far from Warsaw city centre. Since the building is old, you may run into dampness or a few broken amenities. There's no noise cancelling, so a party in the hall can disturb you at night.
