Gosciniec Ptasi Zaułek

We spent seven days at the Gościniec and really recommend it. It's at the end of Niechorze, where there's much less traffic, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. Our room was clean, had a large balcony overlooking the city, and was a lovely place to relax. When we asked, the owners even provided a vacuum cleaner to clean the sandbox in the room. They're a young couple who understand what young parents need. The home-cooked breakfasts were delicious, and the restaurant has a children's corner that makes things much easier.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the women serving us were warm and smiling. We stopped for lunch on our May Day bike ride from Kolobrzeg to Trzesacz, and I’d happily recommend the place.

We left without having dinner. On Sunday, September 8, at 1:00 PM, there was just one other table occupied, yet the waitress never served us. She seemed annoyed when handing over the menu and told us to sit and wait, then stayed behind the bar. When a customer came up alone to ask for a beer, she grumbled about having to go to the table and told the customer to return to their seat. As they walked away, she loudly said, “Fuck,” with a sour expression, as if irritated that anyone wanted something from her. My husband and I decided it wasn’t worth putting up with that kind of treatment. It was over 30 degrees, Sunday, and full of tourists, but the place was empty, which didn’t surprise me. We found delicious food and friendly service a little farther along, and it was actually nice to leave a tip there.

We’ve been coming to Niechorze for years, and this restaurant is always a must for us. During a two-week stay, my family and I tried several dishes. Everything was great, but the pizza was AMAZING. Don’t skip this place!
