The dog charge was never mentioned when we booked or asked about bringing four dogs. We were told it was fine, then asked for 200 zł on arrival. We wouldn’t pay, and by Sunday the fee had somehow gone up to 300 zł. The dogs were quiet and made no mess, but had to stay in our room because the owners’ animals roamed freely in the garden. We’d booked two nights, Friday to Sunday, for a work team building, and the hosts’ attitude made the stay miserable. They seemed annoyed that we hadn’t ordered optional breakfast. When we asked to sit in the common dining room later in the evening because it was cold outside, the man wanted 200 zł to let us use it. The woman wanted us to go upstairs since it was after 10pm, which was fair enough, but we asked if we could stay downstairs longer because nobody else was in the building. They made a huge drama of it and wouldn’t agree. A bit of flexibility wouldn’t hurt. I also asked about the locked downstairs toilet, thinking someone was using it. The woman, with an awful attitude, said it was out of order and that I had a toilet in my room so I should use that. There’s a nicer way to say it. I’ve left out a few things, but those are the main points. You can’t run a place like this if guests annoy you. Unless the management changes, consider staying somewhere else.
