I don't understand the bad reviews. The surroundings are beautiful, and inside it was clean with a lovely atmosphere. We checked in in the middle of the night without any trouble. It was peaceful and relaxing, and I wish we'd stayed longer than one night. The airport is a 25-minute walk away.

The property and nearby historic sites are beautiful. The staff were very helpful, and breakfast was amazing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and warm.

Some people expect seven-star service while paying nothing. I thought the price was very good for a historic, wooded area near the rivers, and just a 25-minute walk from the airport. I expected a terrible place, but it was VERY good. My rating reflects the price.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. The rooms were only okay, reasonably clean but missing basic things like a hair dryer. The service was the worst part. I booked for two women because the hotel is near Modlin Airport and advertises that you can arrange an airport shuttle or taxi in advance through Booking.com. They did arrange one, and hotel staff assured them it was sorted, but no taxi showed up at 03:00 a.m. It was impossible to find one in the middle of the night. A couple of other guests were in the same position after ordering airport taxis, and staff had ignored their requests too. Outrageous.

We landed at midnight and stayed a night in Modlin before heading into the city. The Modlin Palace was better than we'd expected. Someone was at the desk when we got in around 3am, and the room was cosy with coffee and tea provided. We especially enjoyed hearing the birds in the morning from the woods outside our window.
