Versal apartHotel Airport Modlin

The hotel's restaurant turned out to be a good choice after we gave up looking for somewhere to eat in the surrounding urban area. The beer was cold, tasty, and cheap, and the barmaid was friendly. Our freshly cooked food was lovely too: I had pork in breadcrumbs, my wife ordered spaghetti Bolognese, and we shared chips and onion rings. Breakfast was only about £5 each, which seemed like good value, but it was a letdown apart from the coffee. There was bread but no toaster, only a few slices of meat, cheap sausages sitting in warm water, scrambled eggs that seemed to have been out for ages, curling cheese, and a few pots of yoghurt. We stayed for one night before flying back to Spain.

The room was spotless, but tiny, and the shower head was broken. The price was very low, so you get what you pay for. Staff in the bar and restaurant were rude and unwelcoming, and some of the bar's customers seemed dodgy. The Wi-Fi didn't work. I'd avoid it.

The place smelled bad and the staff weren't very nice. Still, if you're passing through and just need the cheapest place for one night, it's okay.

Loved this hotel. It works really well if you're flying out of Modlin Airport.
