Hotel Court Park

The location is good, but the hotel itself feels quite basic and a bit old. It was really noisy at night, with doors banging repeatedly. Breakfast seemed expensive for what you get.

The reception staff member with long dark hair spoke to us in a way I can't even describe. She seemed to think she was in charge, and her attitude toward guests was awful. Our double room had just one person's blanket. When I asked for another, she immediately said that was all they had and there was nothing she could do. I suggested taking one from an empty room, since I doubted every room was occupied, but she still refused. She also said she couldn't change our room, even though I hadn't asked to move. They don't have a complaints book. After a long discussion, she somehow found a blanket, but said it was the last one and other guests with the same problem couldn't have one. She told us we should have mentioned the blanket when booking. Apparently I was supposed to note that both my partner and I wanted a blanket to sleep under. Ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this hotel because they seem unable to deal with people.

The rooms were a good size and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. I just wish the restaurant were open for dinner.

The renovation has been done nicely, and the place is now open to the public. The two restaurants, mono and stereo, are ready to serve guests.
