The owner and his wife were very unfriendly, and he was rude. When we arrived, they said parking had to be paid for even though Booking said it was free, and they also took a security deposit for possible damage. Things only went downhill after that. It felt like being sent back to communist times. Instead of a double bed, there was a tiny, uncomfortable sofa bed. The bedding looked like it came from communist Poland, and the bathroom was moldy and stuck in that era too. The place was filthy. The owner even made us sweep, clean up, and take out the trash before leaving, as stated in the room rules. He wouldn't take the room back or return our deposit until we'd taken out the rubbish. If he expects that of guests, he should set an example himself. The dishes, cutlery, and kettle were so dirty and limescale-covered that we didn't even want to boil water. He told us to find a hotel if we didn't like it, but you shouldn't need a hotel just to get basic cleanliness. We generally don't recommend places like this and would advise against staying here. We shortened our trip by one day. The owner didn't ask why we were leaving or offer to refund the parking charge, even though we'd paid for three nights and stayed only two. We also lost the cost of the extra night. Be careful.

The owners made us feel safe and were incredibly kind, helpful, and always available. We had everything for a relaxing stay, including hot water, a balcony, and a lovely lake view from the terrace. There's direct access to the lake, plus billiards and ping-pong, a barbecue at no extra cost, and bikes to rent. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with everything thoughtfully arranged.
