Czerwone Koszary

We ended up spending the night in the car, so thanks for that ;). We’d made the reservation a week earlier and given our estimated arrival time, but the owner wasn’t there. After we’d waited for an hour, another hostel resident told us the owner had gone to the beach with the girls and wouldn’t be reachable that day. I don’t recommend this place.

It’s a quiet, pleasant spot in a nice neighborhood, close to the park and shops. The owner is helpful and very nice. Every time I’ve stayed at this hostel, it’s been great.

I still haven’t heard even a simple “sorry,” and that’s why I can’t recommend this hostel. I rented a room for two nights, February 12-14, 2021, and told the owner I’d only be there to sleep, not during the day. On Saturday I left at 9:30 a.m. and got back at 7 p.m. When I opened my room, someone had used my bed and toilet, and eaten my sweets and cold cuts. I called the owners, who were surprised. They said it was probably a thief. The owner came over, changed the sheets, then smiled and asked if I wouldn’t be afraid to sleep alone. Looking back, I wonder who that “someone” was: a thief, a ghost, or...? I could have made more of it at the time, but didn’t want to bother anyone. I regret that now. Someone is wandering around the rooms, and the social conditions aren’t the best.

It’s now called KLIK, and I’ve stayed twice. The owners are young and really friendly, and everything inside has been renovated and modernized. I can wholeheartedly recommend it :)
