Dworek Nad Rozlewiskiem

My colleague suggested this place for a business trip to Dąbrowa Górnicza, and I’m glad I took the advice. It’s peaceful and close to Katowice, which suited me better than staying somewhere in a busy city. The rooms were clean and pleasant, with the usual amenities, and the Wi-Fi reached both the rooms and restaurant. I enjoyed the food, and the reception and restaurant staff were kind. For the setting and service, the price seemed very fair. I’ll stay here again next time.

They can arrange a taxi, and they’ll also put together a lunch box if you can’t make breakfast. The taxi fare seemed very high for the distance, though. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and the staff were kind and attentive. A small billing issue: they had already converted the bill to euros at an unfavorable rate without asking.

We only came in for lunch, but the restaurant was much better than we expected. The portions were generous, and the żurek may have been the best around. We’d happily return.

The hotel dealt with the restrictions in place due to Covid appropriately. The staff were polite, very helpful, and spoke good English, and the rooms were clean and pleasant. I’ll book here again when I’m in Olkusz.
