Manor

There are lots of things to do around here, from jogging and walking to horse riding close to the hotel. The hotel also has a pool, saunas, a jacuzzi, bowling and attractions for kids. It could use some renovation, but it's still clean and cosy. We were welcomed so warmly by Krzysztof, thank you! A nice place to stay.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They offered us the floor because there were no beds, linen or towels. We paid for a room, but the hotel couldn't provide even a bed or mattress because it didn't have enough. Supper was just potatoes and cabbage salads.

As someone who works in hospitality and has been in the same position, I found this really disappointing and off-putting. Guests should be treated respectfully whatever their age, and even when it's busy, staff shouldn't take their frustration out on them. I was treated badly twice by the same employee, Natalia, who has short hair. There were groups of young people staying at the hotel, and I guess she assumed I was with them. She spoke to me in an unprofessional tone, looking visibly annoyed. Later, my card broke in half, so I went back to reception. She was on a phone call, and before asking what I needed, she told me to hurry up because she was busy. I was also charged for the replacement card, which seems ridiculous. After I gave her my room number, she apparently realized I was a private guest and her attitude suddenly changed.

I cancelled my reservation two weeks before arrival, so under the rules I'm entitled to a 50% refund. I've called 20 times and sent emails, but the person handling transfers and the manager, Radoslaw Pokrzywicki, don't want to refund my money.
