Hotel DeSilva Premium

The room was very clean, but getting problems fixed was disappointing. My shower head was broken and leaked so much that the toilet would flood, making it unusable. I asked them to fix it, but it never got done. Breakfast was also unclear: at check-in reception gave the hours as 7.30-10, then charged us for breakfast when we left. That's misleading, especially at a premium price. The hotel is good overall.

The food was very good, and the rooms were spotless. Staff were polite and helpful too. It's a modern hotel right in the city centre, beside the canal. Some leisure options like a sauna or swimming pool would be nice, but it deserves its four stars.

The location is great, and the place is clean and well equipped. The mattresses could use an upgrade. I was also surprised I couldn't put bar drinks on my room bill and pay at the end of my stay.

The receptionist was very helpful and professional, and the Saturday price of 320zł seemed reasonable. The hotel is clean and pleasant, but pretty standard for four stars, with little to stand out, even the coffee was instant. There’s lots of dark furniture, which makes the rooms feel cluttered and smaller than they could be, though there’s plenty of storage and the furniture is in great shape. The bathroom was clean and up to standard. The riverside is lovely, and the town seems charming, though I had little time to explore. The location is ideal for seeing the city, with plenty of nearby restaurants and bars. Underground parking was stressful: the spaces are tiny, there are lots of pillars, and cones sometimes block spaces that remain empty the next day. Other residents also park outside their lines. City parking is free on weekends, and there’s a car park 50m away for just 4zł an hour, so I'd use that if driving around. A solid four stars for the price, but no wow factor. The parking kept me from giving five.
