I only saw it from the road while passing through, but the palace really stands out. I couldn't get a look inside, unfortunately.

Nothing was open when I got there at 1:50 on Friday, November 7, and there was no way in. I understand it's privately owned, but still...

The grounds and the restored palace front are striking, especially the garden. We came on a Saturday and found the place closed, though the notice at the main gate says you can arrange entry by phone beforehand.

I came for a pork festival and left sure I wouldn't come back. The palace manager charges 5 złoty to park in a cornfield. That's outrageous. And with so many worse reviews already online, I'm not sure why I'm adding mine.

Even from outside the fence, the views are lovely, and the palace, manor house, and landscaped park are beautiful. Getting in seems to depend on luck and a phone call, but I still recommend it. Count Ferdinand von Lessen would probably be pleased by the owners' commitment to restoring the place, if he were still alive.
