Hotel Omega

The rooms have seen better days, and the beds, furniture, and bathroom all need updating. The service, though, was flawless, with nothing to fault there. The location works well for Ostrów Wielkopolski.

The cold was brutal, actually below freezing, and I ended up sleeping in a sweater. The price made no sense for what we got. On arrival, the hotel already smelled strongly of sewage, and my room hadn’t been cleaned: used sheets, dirty floors, and crumbs on the table. The bathroom was awful too. It looked like nobody had cleaned it in ages, with toothpaste stains, hair, and other debris on the wall by the sink. The one good thing was that the shower water got really hot. A complete disaster, in at least three acts, and the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

I won’t stay here again. It was barely 11 a.m. and the woman was already complaining that I was still there because she wanted to go to the cemetery. She rushed around packing like crazy. The hotel has lost its customers, and there are plenty of other places in Ostrów.

What a shame about the bathroom. The sink is cracked, the faucet sprays water onto the floor and tiles, and the damaged shower leaves the bathroom flooded.
