Zielony Domek

The location is great, but I wouldn't recommend this place. The apartment has potential, yet it wasn't kept clean, and the lack of a landlady on site was noticeable. A man was there to hand out keys and seemed completely out of touch. Even the reception doormats were badly damaged. Our room was in the basement and smelled damp as soon as we walked in. It was dirty too: there was an old, rotten pomegranate in the kitchen cabinet, cobwebs in the ceiling corners, holes in the walls, and wall lights with their fixtures unscrewed so only the bulbs showed. The owners boast on their website that the room is perfect for allergy sufferers because it has no curtains or carpets. But when I started making the bed and touched a dusty, musty corner, I sneezed for hours. The restroom smelled of sewage and damp. The small parking lot was in bad shape, cost extra, and had a steep, rough entrance where we damaged our bumper. I've seen reviews saying we're not the only ones. I don't know where the positive reviews come from, maybe people stayed 10 years ago? We were at the Terrace Apartment, and I agree with KONONOWICZ's review, which upset the owners so much. I feel embarrassed by the mess there. It's a joke to reply that the review doesn't refer to this apartment. My partner booked an apartment in the green house, and I have the confirmation. Please don't make that claim in response to comments. I also don't know how this place can call itself a 3-star hotel.

The only good thing is the location. I agree with Karolina Polewska's review: the place is filthy, dirty, and messy. I booked rooms at the Zielony Domek through Booking.com and have confirmation that it was Zielony Domek, not Waldi. So, owners, please don't reply saying the review doesn't apply to your apartments. It would be nice if the owner came by once in a while to take care of his "BUSINESS." Maybe if someone checked the rooms and refreshed the building now and then, it wouldn't be such a mess. Owners can deny facts under Google reviews, but they can't respond to negative apartment reviews on Booking.com.

The location is fantastic, but that’s the only real positive. Parking is available for an extra 20 PLN per day, supposedly because the property belongs to Waldi. Zielony Domek and Waldi are owned by the same person, Mr. Waldemar F. I don't understand how this "hotel" has three stars. I started getting a runny nose as soon as I arrived. At first I thought it was the climate, but it wasn't. The Standard Studio Room had dust, a rusty fridge, a shower door that was coming off, a broken shower handle, and a floor lamp that was leaning against the wall so it wouldn't fall over. There were ceiling lampshades missing and paint peeling from the ceiling, among other problems.

The room is cozy and warm, and the location is good. Room 2 could use some freshening up. The rain shower head and hand shower probably need replacing, as they seem to have reached the end of their useful lives.
