Apartament na Wydmach Pobierowo

The terrace was the highlight for us, huge and with a great view over the city center. We could even listen to live music there in the evenings. The Manianna apartment we chose from the website was fairly spacious and can fit 3 people, and the ladies welcomed us quickly and warmly on our first stay in apartments on the dune. Still, it looks much better online than in person. The high chair was worn, the garden furniture was tired, and the umbrella was broken and couldn't be extended, so it was useless. Some of the floor tiles shifted and stuck up, which could trip someone, and the clothes dryer was rusty and worn. The bathroom seemed newly renovated, but the kitchenette had no oven or microwave and was missing a few little utensils. We got by without them. The bedrooms were fine and had a large wardrobe. The apartment hadn't been prepared very well: there was an empty bottle under the bed and dusty candy wrappers. I'd read that guests get juice, but none was provided. Water or a small welcome treat would've been nice, since we've seen welcome baskets elsewhere. It's a nice apartment, but some things need refreshing. I do recommend the place. There's no air conditioning, and the rooms were very hot and hard to sleep in even though it was 23 degrees outside. Imagine at 35. The fan didn't work either :-)

The beach is only about 50 meters from the building exit, and the city center is just a few steps away, even though the apartment is supposedly off the beaten track. It’s in the Żabka building, which is handy for any forgotten evening shopping. The rooms were clean, smelled fresh, and were ready for guests. We also had deck chairs and a beach screen. On level 0 there’s a sauna and jacuzzi, nice for spending an evening together or playing with the kids. I highly recommend it.

We’ll definitely come back. The rooms were clean and nice, the beds comfortable, and the place is right on the beach. There’s free private parking, plus a Frog restaurant downstairs. It’s one of the few restaurants open in Pobierowo, and very good too. I recommend it!
