Hotel Linea Mare*****

The kids’ pool was fantastic, and my daughter had a lot of fun there. We enjoyed our time at the hotel, which isn’t too far from the sea. Our room was big, and the food was varied and delicious. Four stars because of the room cleaning service and the view of the parking lot.

The service was awful. They don’t clean rooms while you’re staying there or bring fresh towels, and toilet paper is only given every three days. That’s a real problem if you’re there for just two days. Service was slow at the restaurant too. We ordered food and it arrived very late, with the meat almost raw. Keep an eye out for extra charges. They say it’s a five-star hotel, but it turns out there are two sides, one that is and one that isn’t. I was charged for five stars and got no stars. Never again.

The beach is super close and the amenities are pretty great. I’d seen earlier reviews mentioning terrible things, which seemed odd to me because honestly, it was pretty great. It’s family friendly, with lots of kids around, and they even have adults-only pool time. Service could be better. I ordered food at the bar and they handed me the boxes and put the tiramisu in a bag, saying they didn’t have a bag and I’d have to carry it. Still, I’d recommend the place.

The plants around the hotel were really nice. Our room was spacious and had a pleasant balcony, but the bed was extremely hard and the pillows felt like mush, so sleeping well was difficult. Breakfast had lots of choice and something different each morning, though the dining room was very loud with all the families and small children. Some of the kids were sick, which wasn’t pleasant. Dinner buffet was okay, but the cakes weren’t good. We booked four days with breakfast and dinner for an Easter break after finding the hotel on Google, about 3-4 hours away. One night there was no dinner for some reason, but we found a good alternative. I wouldn’t recommend it for childfree people.
