The view from the window was gorgeous, looking east over a bend in the river and the promenade, with the sound of the water nearby. I imagine it’s especially green and lovely in spring and summer. We stayed in the attic room, which was a nice surprise, though it’s probably better suited to less demanding guests. We liked it. The property feels cozy and is close to walking trails. One thing to keep in mind is the church nearby: the bells ring every 15 minutes and louder on the hour. It was manageable for our short stay, but could bother people who need quiet, especially in the morning if they want to sleep in. We recommend it.

The apartment is a good size for two and bright, with lots of windows and a balcony. Unfortunately, that balcony is shared with the neighboring apartment, so it’s awkward if someone smokes there and you don’t. There’s a small kitchenette with a window in the entrance hall, and if you want to sit at a table, that’s where you’ll be. The kitchen itself is basic. The bedroom has a relatively small TV, around 19 inches at most, with few channels and poor reception. The bedroom is described as “Sizeny,” and has an interwar style, maybe? Good value for money, and a convenient location near the spa park and pump room.

A small ground-floor apartment in a central spot, close to everything. It was clean and quiet, and the hostess was very kind. For this level of accommodation, the price is amazing.
