The thin walls and doors let hallway and kitchenette noise, along with cooking smells, come straight into the room. Even a quiet kitchen conversation was perfectly clear with the door shut, so I imagine the sound carries just as easily the other way. Cleanliness could be better too: dusty shelves, soap residue in the shower, and black mold along the grout and door guides. The room was cramped but passable, and the sockets and switches were awkwardly placed. The listing promised a double bed, but there were two singles pushed together. Their latches had been tightened, which did keep them from sliding apart at night. At this price, I’ve had better maintained rooms with a more practical layout.

I’d happily stay at the Gazda Guest Rooms again if I’m back in the area for a vacation. The rooms were clean, the kitchen had everything needed, and the owner is a very nice lady. There’s also a beautiful rock garden being built around the house. I can see what it used to look like in old photos, and the finished result should be stunning.

You can hear everything happening beyond the room, so whether you get any sleep depends on the neighbors. Their cooking smells drift in too. The room itself wasn’t bad, though it could use some dusting.

Really nice rooms, and the kitchen has a fridge. Great.

There are lots of nearby attractions, and the owners are very friendly. I was delighted with my stay: the rooms were clean, roomy, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Such a good place to unwind!
