The owners were so hospitable, kind, and always ready to help or offer advice. The Christmas Eve dinner deserves a special mention: delicious, beautifully prepared, and served in such huge portions that everyone ate their fill and nothing was left. It felt truly homey. We had a wonderful stay with our whole family of eight, and it was hard to leave ❤️. The cottage is in a beautiful spot, with fairytale-like views 🏔️🌄. It's quiet and picturesque, great for walks and relaxing away from the daily rush. The layout worked perfectly for two families of 2+2, and everything was functional and well maintained. We felt at home and lacked nothing. The kids' corner gave the children their own play space 🧸. There are lovely walking trails and excellent dining options nearby 🍽️😋. We'll definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend it. A perfect family trip any time of year 👍💯

We've been coming back for eight years, which says a lot about the atmosphere here. The food is always delicious, homemade, and lovingly prepared, like at your favorite aunt's in the mountains. The rooms are spotless and well kept, clean enough that you feel like walking around barefoot, which isn't always the case in the mountains 😉. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful, with genuine care for guests rather than a fake smile. We feel at home here. And the parties in the common room are a real hit: laughter, dancing, and great evenings that leave us with memories to take home. It's a place you grow fond of and want to return to. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a true mountain atmosphere ❤️🏔️

The main problem was the poor communication and service from the owners. We booked four months ahead, but it was already hard to get in touch. Calls went unanswered, texts got no reply, and we'd hear back days later. Having another job or saying you'd forgotten your work phone isn't an excuse. You need to decide whether you care about quality or quantity, and whether you can look after a tourist rental while working full-time elsewhere 🤷‍♂️. We stayed eight days and kept having to ask for firewood that was supposed to be available throughout our stay. We waited hours for an answer about delivery. They said to leave the container outside and the wood would come, but we waited until the next day. What we got was some nailed boards, forest branches, and a few bigger blocks that would burn longer. There was no kindling, newspaper, or matches. If you're renting a cottage with a fireplace, everything needed to light it should be provided. When I asked for newspaper, I was told they had none. We brought some from Biedronka and had our own matches. The dishwasher came with just one capsule. After I texted, they provided what they estimated would be eight for the whole stay. There were no house rules or information about sorting rubbish. There was one bin in the kitchen and another upstairs in the bathroom. When I texted to ask whether there was sorting and where the outdoor bins were, she said there was a sorting sign on the indoor bin. There wasn't. We were supposed to take rubbish outside, and I ended up with bags spread across the floor for sorting during the stay. Another issue was payment. I transferred the money for the stay, but the owner wanted cash in hand. I don't support that, especially with no receipt. In Poland we pay taxes, and rental payments should go into a bank account. Still, we loved the location, the apartment's fireplace and decor, and the beautiful Tatra Mountains views. It's near the forest, with lots of hills for sledding 🛷☃️. The apartment was warm and spotless, with underfloor heating downstairs, two bathrooms, two upstairs bedrooms, and balconies on two sides. The bathroom blinds were useless 🤔.

It feels just like home in this magical place. We recommend it and would be happy to return.
